Add these to your water and let them boil down.
Put the remaining 2 cups of water through a fine mesh strainer. Then take the 2 cup of herbal water and add 2 cups of organic honey.Bring to a boil until it reaches 300 degrees with a candy thermometer. Now pour into a silicon candy molds and let cool completely and remove from the molds. If they are sticky dust them with a little rice flour.
Then you can individually wrap them in waxed paper.
Or you can take a cookie sheet and spray it with a small amount of oil of your choice… and pour your herbal syrup on it and let it cool slightly.
When you can touch your cooled herbal cough remedy without getting burned, form it into balls and then let them cool completely on parchment paper, and then if need be… dust them with rice flour.
Then you can individually wrap them in waxed paper to make wonderful cough drops.
These organic herbal cough drops also make nice gifts especially for someone who’s not feeling well.
These drops work well for congestion, sore throats, and for that nagging cough.
The whole process from start to finish should not take more than about an 1 hour.
